US : Antidumping and Countervailing Actions against Mobile Access Equipment from the Mainland of China: Institution of Investigations and Scheduling of Preliminary Phase Investigations
The US International Trade Commission (ITC) announced in the Federal Register (FR) notice of 4 March 2021 the institution of investigations and commencement of preliminary phase antidumping and countervailing duty investigations pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 to determine whether there is a reasonable indication that an industry in the US is materially injured or threatened with material injury, or the establishment of an industry in the US is materially retarded, by reason of imports of certain mobile access equipment and subassemblies thereof from the Mainland of China that are alleged to be sold in the US at less than fair value and subsidised by the Government of the People's Republic of China. 2.Interested parties wishing to participate in the investigations should file an entry of appearance with ITC not later than seven days after publication of the FR notice. Written submissions should reach ITC on or before 24 March 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ITC is conducting the staff conference through video conferencing on 19 March 2021. Requests to participate in the conference should be emailed to email@example.com on or before 17 March 2021.
3.For traders involved in the export of the subject product produced in Guangdong, please contact Li Xuefei, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Guangdong Department of Commerce at 8620 3881 6201. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in the Guangdong Province in responding to antidumping investigations against products of the Province.
