Canada : Antidumping Action against Certain Oil Country Tubular Goods and Certain Seamless Casing from the Mainland of China: Conclusion of Re-investigations
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 728/2019 of 30 September 2019 regarding the initiation of re-investigations against certain oil country tubular goods (OCTG I) and certain seamless casing originating in or exported from the Mainland of China, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) concluded on 25 May 2020 the re-investigations of the normal values and export prices of the subject goods. For OCTG I, the subject goods are usually classified under the Harmonized System (HS) classification numbers 7304.29.00.31, 7304.29.00.39, 7304.29.00.41, 7304.29.00.49, 7304.29.00.51, 7304.29.00.59, 7304.29.00.61, 7304.29.00.69, 7304.29.00.71, 7304.29.00.79, 7304.39.00.60, 7304.59.00.50, 7306.29.00.11, 7306.29.00.19, 7306.29.00.21, 7306.29.00.29, 7306.29.00.31, 7306.29.00.39, 7306.29.00.61 and 7306.29.00.69. For seamless casing, the subject goods are usually classified under the HS classification numbers 7304.29.00.11, 7304.29.00.19, 7304.29.00.21 and 7304.29.00.29.
2.Pursuant to the re-investigations results, the CBSA imposes anti-dumping duties of 166.9% on imports of certain OCTG I and 91% on imports of seamless casing originating in / exported from the Mainland of China effective on 25 May 2020.
