US : Countervailing Action against Mattresses from the Mainland of China : Initiation of Investigation

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 296/2020 of 9 April 2020, the US Department of Commerce (DoC) announced in the Federal Register (FR) notice of 24 April 2020 the initiation of countervailing duty investigation to determine whether manufacturers/producers/exporters of mattresses in the Mainland of China received countervailable subsidies. For further information on the countervailing duty investigation, traders may wish to contact DoC, whose contact details are set out in the above-mentioned FR notice.
