Commercial Information Circular No. 281/2020

Argentina : Preliminary Determination of Anti-dumping Investigation against Certain Aluminium Sheets Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 169/2019 of 1 March 2019 regarding the initiation of anti-dumping (AD) investigation against aluminium non-alloyed sheet; or aluminium alloy sheet with a diameter ranging between 60mm to 1,000mm and a thickness ranging between 0.3mm to 5mm, classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 7606.91.00 and 7606.92.00 originating in the Mainland of China, the Argentine government issued Resolution No. 930/2019 announcing its preliminary affirmative determination of the subject AD investigation with imposition of AD duty of 70% for a period of six months.  The Argentine Resolution (in Spanish) is available at:

1 The Southern Common Market (Mercosur) includes Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela. Membership of Venezuela has been temporarily suspended since 2 December 2016.
