Mexico : Higher Duties on Apparel, Textile and Footwear Products

The Mexican Government has announced to increase its most-favoured-nation (MFN) import duties on certain apparel, textile and footwear products. Import duty on 274 tariff lines comprising apparel and made-up textile products is increased to 25%, and import duty on 43 tariff lines of footwear products is increased to 25% or 30%. These revised duties are applicable until 30 September 2024.
