Commercial Information Circular No. 852/2019

Argentina : Preliminary Determination of Anti-dumping Investigation against Certain Steel Wheels Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 1150/2018 of 27 December 2018 regarding the initiation of anti-dumping (AD) investigation against steel wheels with a nominal diameter ranging from 444.5mm (17.5 inches) to 622.33mm (24.5 inches) and a nominal width of 152.4mm (six inches) in minimum, which are used in buses, lorries, trailers and semi-trailers, classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 8708.70.90 and 8716.90.90 originating in the Mainland of China, the Argentine government issued Resolution No. 597/2019 announcing its preliminary affirmative determination of the subject AD investigation with imposition of AD duty of 41.78% for a period of four months.
