Canada : Antidumping Action against Certain Corrosion-Resistant Steel Sheet from the Mainland of China: Final Determination

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 960/2018 dated 25 October 2018 regarding the Canadian authorities' preliminary determination of anti-dumping (AD) investigation against certain corrosion-resistant steel sheet from, among others, the Mainland of China, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced on 22 January 2019 the final determination of dumping. The weighted-average dumping margins are found to be 3.6% - 53.3%. Provisional duty will continue to apply until the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) announces its final determination on injury to the domestic industry by 21 February 2019. Where the CITT determines an injury, the CBSA will impose final AD duty on imports of the subject goods for the next five years. In the case of no injury found, all the proceedings will be terminated and the provisional duty will be returned.

Additional information about this investigation will be contained in a Statement of Reasons which will be available within 15 days from the date of the final determination on CBSA's website at http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/sima-lmsi/menu-eng.html.
