Argentina : Initiation of Anti-dumping Investigation against Certain Motors of the Kind Used in Washing Machines Originating in the Mainland of China

The Argentine government issued Resolution No. 75/2019 to announce the initiation of anti-dumping (AD) investigation against certain motors of the kind used in washing machines classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 8501.10.29, 8501.10.30, 8501.20.00 and 8501.40.19 originating in the Mainland of China. The investigation covers the following washing machine motors: (1) alternating current, single-phase, asynchronous motors for a voltage of at least 110 volts but no greater than 240 volts, and a power of at least 37.5 watts but no greater than 750 watts; and (2) universal electric motors for the same voltage range and of the same power range.  The relevant Argentine Resolution (in Spanish) is available at: https://www.boletinoficial.gob.ar/detalleAviso/primera/209905/20190621.
