US : Antidumping and Countervailing Actions against Certain Truck and Bus Tires from the Mainland of China: Antidumping Duty and Countervailing Duty Orders

Further to the remand ordered by the US Court of International Trade in the US International Trade Commission's (ITC) final negative injury determinations on 1 November 2018 and the ITC's findings of material injury to an industry in the US by reason of imports of certain truck and bus tires from the Mainland of China on 30 January 2019, the US Department of Commerce (DoC) announced in the Federal Register (FR) notices on 15 February 2019 the antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders based on the affirmative final determinations by the DoC and the ITC. The estimated weighted-average dumping margins are found to be 9.00% - 22.57%, and the estimated subsidy rates are 20.98% - 63.34%.

2.The DoC will instruct the US Customs and Border Protection to suspend liquidation of the subject imports and require a cash deposit of the estimated duties for subsequent entries in accordance with the rates as set out in the AD and CVD orders, effective the date of publication of the FR notices, which are available at: https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2019-02-15/pdf/2019-02656.pdf and https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2019-02-15/pdf/2019-02657.pdf.
