US : Antidumping Action against Mattresses from the Mainland of China: Institution of Investigation and Scheduling of Preliminary Phase Investigation
The US International Trade Commission (ITC) announced in the Federal Register (FR) notice of 24 September 2018 the institution of investigation and commencement of preliminary phase antidumping duty investigation pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 to determine whether there is a reasonable indication that an industry in the US is materially injured or threatened with material injury, or the establishment of an industry in the US is materially retarded, by reason of imports of mattresses from the Mainland of China that are alleged to be sold in the US at less than fair value. 2.Interested parties wishing to participate in the investigation should file an entry of appearance with ITC not later than seven days after publication of the FR notice. Written submissions should reach ITC on or before 12 October 2018. Besides, ITC has scheduled a conference in connection with the investigation on 9 October 2018 in which parties wishing to participate should contact ITC not later than 4 October 2018 to arrange for their appearance.

The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in the Guangdong Province in responding to AD investigations against products of the Province.
