Commercial Information Circular No. 428/2018

Canada : Antidumping Action against Certain Concrete Reinforcing Bar from Hong Kong: Conclusion of Re-investigation

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 1111/2017 of 6 December 2017 regarding initiation of a re-investigation against certain concrete reinforcing bar originating in or exported from, inter alia, Hong Kong, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) concluded on 4 May 2018 the re-investigation updating the normal values and export prices of the subject goods. The concerned goods are usually classified under the Harmonized System classification numbers 7213.10.00.00, 7214.20.00.00, 7215.90.00.90 and 7227.90.00.90.

2.Pursuant to the re-investigation results, the CBSA imposes an anti-dumping duty of 108.5% on imports of the subject goods originating in / exported from Hong Kong with effect from 4 May 2018.
