Argentina : Renewal of Import Tariffs on Certain Toys

The Argentine government issued Decree No. 1126/2017 to announce the renewal of import tariffs on various products. Certain toys, classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 9503.00.10, 9503.00.21, 9503.00.22, 9503.00.31, 9503.00.39, 9503.00.40, 9503.00.50, 9503.00.60, 9503.00.70, 9503.00.80, 9503.00.91, 9503.00.97, 9503.00.98 and 9503.00.99, are subject to an import duty of 35%.

2.For details of the Argentine measures and other products involved, traders are advised to consult their importers in Argentina and/or the relevant Decree with Annexes (in Spanish) which is available at: http://servicios.infoleg.gob.ar/infolegInternet/anexos/305000-309999/305361/norma.htm.

1 The Southern Common Market (Mercosur) includes Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela. Membership of Venezuela has been temporarily suspended since 2 December 2016.
