Commercial Information Circular No. 309/2018

Brazil : Amendments on Terms of Price Agreement for Imported Ceramic Tableware Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 312/2017 of 2 May 2017 regarding the amendments on terms of price agreement of ceramic tableware classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 6911.10.10, 6911.10.90, 6911.90.00 and 6912.00.00, originating in the Mainland of China, the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) of Brazil issued Circular No. 6/2018 announcing that imports of subject merchandise produced by members of the China Ceramics Industrial Association are subject to a minimum insurance and freight (CIF) price of US$4.13 per kilogram and a limit of 30.39 million kilograms in 2018. The terms and CIF price will apply to subject merchandise shipped on or after 20 February 2018. 1 The Southern Common Market (Mercosur) includes Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela. Membership of Venezuela has been temporarily suspended since 2 December 2016.
