US : Safety Standard for Infant Bouncer Seats

The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (Commission) published in the Federal Register (FR) of 18 September 2017 a final rule establishing a safety standard for infant bouncer seats, which will take effect on 19 March 2018.

DETAILS

2.The final rule incorporates by reference the most recent voluntary standard for infant bouncer seats, developed by ASTM International, ASTM F2167-17, with certain modifications related to warning label content and placement. Additionally, the final rule amends the list of notice of requirements (NORs) issued by the Commission to include the standard for infant bouncer seats for accreditation of third party conformity assessment bodies.
