Argentina : Final Determination of Anti-circumvention Investigation against Certain Coated Papers Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 956/2016 of 20 December 2016 regarding the initiation of anti-circumvention investigation against single- or double-side coated papers and paperboards with kaolin or other inorganic substances; in rolls, in square or rectangular sheets; with the weight of total fibre content ranging from 10% to 50% and containing fibres obtained by a mechanical or chemi-mechanical process, classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) code 4810.29.90 originating in the Mainland of China, the Argentine government issued Resolution No. 316/2017 to determine that the subject Chinese products are circumventing the anti-dumping (AD) duty order imposed on the Chinese imports of certain coated papers classified under NCM codes 4810.13.89, 4810.13.90, 4810.19.89 and 4810.19.90. An ad valorem AD duty, amounts to 39.56%, is levied on FOB prices on the subject Chinese products.
