Commercial Information Circular No. 60/2017

Brazil : Renewal of Anti-dumping Duty Order against Table Glassware Originating in the Mainland of China

The Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) of Brazil issued Resolution No. 126/2016 on 22 December 2016 announcing its determination to extend the anti-dumping (AD) duty order on table glassware classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 7013.28.00, 7013.37.00 and 7013.49.00 originating in the Mainland of China for additional five years. Chinese imports will be subject to an AD duty of US$1.70 per kilogram.

2.For details of the Brazilian measure and the products involved, traders are advised to consult their importers in Brazil and/or the relevant Brazilian Resolution (in Portuguese) which is available at http://www.camex.gov.br/legislacao/interna/id/1644.

1 The Southern Common Market (Mercosur) includes Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela. Membership of Venezuela has been temporarily suspended since 2 December 2016.
