Canada : Antidumping Action against Certain Concrete Reinforcing Bar from Hong Kong: Final Determination on Injury

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 236/2017 dated 5 April 2017 regarding the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA)'s final determination of the anti-dumping (AD) investigation against certain concrete reinforcing bar originating in or exported from, inter alia, Hong Kong, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) announced its final determination on 3 May 2017, that the dumping of the subject goods has caused injury to the domestic industry. The concerned goods are usually classified under the Harmonized System classification numbers 7213.10.00.00, 7214.20.00.00, 7215.90.00.90 and 7227.90.00.90. Pursuant to the determination, the CBSA will impose a final AD duty of 108.5% (except for one company with individual rate of 54%) on imports of the subject goods originating in / exported from Hong Kong for the next five years.
