Chile : Imposition of Definitive Anti-dumping Duty on Steel Wire Rod Originating in the Mainland of China
Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 941/2016 of 16 December 2016, the Chilean government issued Exempt Decree No. 127/2017 on 17 April 2017 announcing the imposition of anti-dumping (AD) duty on steel wire rod classified under Chilean Harmonized Tariff Schedule codes 7213.20.00, 7213.91.10, 7213.91.20, 7213.91.90, 7213.99.00, 7227.10.00, 7227.20.00, and 7227.90.00 originating in the Mainland of China. The Chinese products are subject to a definitive AD duty ranging from 28.8% to 38.0% for one year. Cold Heading Quality (CHQ) wire rods, wire rods with a diameter exceeding 16 mm, and wire rods with grooves or bumps are excluded from the scope of this measure.
