Brazil : Imposition of Provisional Anti-dumping Duty on Certain Steel Stranded Wires Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 626/2016 of 28 July 2016 regarding the initiation of anti-dumping (AD) investigation against high-carbon steel stranded wire, with a high tensile strength and low relaxation, having three or seven wires, also known as low relaxation strand or pre-stressed concrete strand, classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) code 7312.10.90 originating in the Mainland of China, the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) of Brazil issued Resolution No. 128/2016 announcing its imposition of provisional AD duty on the subject merchandise for six months. Imports from certain Mainland companies are subject to an AD duty ranging from US$351.30 per tonne to US$562.70 per tonne, until 22 June 2017.
