Ecuador : Duty Increase on Certain Steel Products

The Ecuadorian government issued Resolution No. 36/2016 to increase import duties on certain steel products classified under headings 8504 of Ecuadorian Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTSEC). The import duties have been increased to 20% and 25%.

2.For details of the above trade measure and other products involved, traders are advised to consult their importers in Ecuador and/or the relevant Resolution (in Spanish) which is available at:
