Commercial Information Circular No. 978/2016

Brazil : Imposition of Provisional Anti-dumping Duty on Certain Types of Steel Wire Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 625/2016 of 28 July 2016 regarding the initiation of anti-dumping (AD) investigation against certain types of high-carbon, high-resistance steel wire, of circular section, hardened by cold drawing, having a smooth or notched surface and normal or low relaxation, classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 7217.10.19 and 7217.10.90 originating in the Mainland of China, the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) of Brazil issued Resolution No. 119/2016 on 28 November 2016 announcing its imposition of provisional AD duty on the subject merchandise for six months.
