US : Anti-dumping Action against Certain Amorphous Silica Fabric from the Mainland of China : Preliminary Determination of Sales at Less than Fair Value

The US Department of Commerce (DoC) announced in the Federal Register (FR) notice of 1 September 2016 its preliminary determination that certain amorphous silica fabric from the Mainland of China were being, or were likely to be, sold in the US at less than fair value. The weighted-average dumping margins were found to be 162.47%. 2.On 16 March 2016, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) published its preliminary determination that there was a reasonable indication that an industry in the US was materially injured by reason of imports of certain amorphous silica fabric from the Mainland of China. If the final determination of the DoC is affirmative, the ITC will make its final determination on whether the domestic industry in the US is materially injured, or threatened with material injury, by reason of the subject imports within 45 days after the DoC's final determination.
