Commercial Information Circular No. 460/2016

Peru : Renewal of Anti-dumping Order on Sandals and Slippers Originating in the Mainland of China

The Peruvian government issued a Resolution No. 47/2016 on 1 April 2016 announcing its determination to renew the antidumping (AD) order on certain sandals, slippers, flip flops and similar types of footwear classified under Peruvian Harmonised Tariff Schedule (HTSPE) codes 6402.19.0000, 6402.20.0000, 6402.91.0000, 6402.99.9000, 6403.91.9000, 6403.99.9000, 6405.10.0000 and 6405.90.0000 originating in the Mainland of China. Imports of subject merchandise with rubber or plastic upppers and outer soles of various materials originating in Mainland China will be subject to an additional three years of AD duty, while imports of Chinese merchandise with upppers made by natural leather or materials other than rubber or plastic and outer soles of various materials will be excluded from the AD duty measure.
