Brazil : Renewal of Anti-dumping Orders on Certain Footwear and Magnets Originating in the Mainland of China

The Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) of Brazil issued two Resolutions Nos. 18/2016 and 20/2016 on 1 March 2016 and 2 March 2016 respectively announcing its determination to extend for an additional five years of the antidumping (AD) orders on certain footwear classified under Headings 6402 – 6405 of Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) and ring-shaped ferrite magnets classified under NCM code 8505.19.10 originating in the Mainland of China. Imports of Chinese footwear will be subject to an AD duty of US$10.22 per pair, while the imports of Chinese magnets will be subject to an AD duty of US$570.73 per tonne.
