Brazil : Amendments on Terms of Price Agreement for Imported Ceramic Tableware Originating in the Mainland of China

On 17 January 2014, Brazil established an AD duty order of US$1.84/kilogramme (kg), US$2.76/kg or US$5.14/kg, depending on the producer/exporter. The Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) of Brazil issued Circular No. 5/2016 on 15 January 2016 announcing the amendments on terms of price agreement of ceramic tableware classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 6911.10.10, 6911.10.90, 6911.90.00 and 6912.00.00, originating in the Mainland of China. Imports of subject merchandise produced by members of the China Ceramics Industrial Association are subject to a minimum insurance and freight (CIF) price of US$3.77/kg and a 27.56 million kg limit in 2016. The terms and CIF price will apply to subject merchandise shipped on or after 11 February 2016.
