Commercial Information Circular No. 892/2015

Paraguay : Establishment of Various Customs Requirements for Payments for International Trade Operation

The Paraguayan Customs issued Instructions No. 7 on 3 March 2015 to establish various customs requirements for payments for international trade operation.

2.On behalf of the delcarant, customs employee shall register all data related to the international money transfer in relevant fields of the electronic SOFIA system. The data to be provided includes:

  1. the number of international money remittance or transfer corresponding to the imports;
  2. type of entity which processed the transfer;
  3. code of the entity;
  4. operation number of the transfer;
  5. amount of money of the transfer; and
  6. currency used in the transfer.
