Commercial Information Circular No. 522/2015

Ecuador: Imposition of Tariff Surcharge on Various Products

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 368/2015 of 14 May 2015 regarding the imposition of tariff surcharge on various products, the Ecuadorian government issued Resolution No. 16/2015 in April 2015 to further modify the measures:

  1. make modifications to certain tariff lines as set out in Annex 1 of Resolution No. 16/2015; and
  2. exclude six tariff lines classified under Ecuadorian Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTSEC) codes 4011.10.1000, 4011.10.9000, 8516.10.000, 8516.29.9000 8516.60.1000, and 8705.90.9000, as set out in Annex 2 of Resolution No. 16/2015.
