Commercial Information Circular No. 521/2015

Argentina : Implementation of Online System for Customs Procedures

The Federal Administration of Public Revenue of Argentina ("Administración Federal de Ingresos Públicos" (in Spanish) /AFIP) issued General Resolution No. 3754/2015 on 19 March 2015 to implement the Computer System for Customs Procedures ("Sistema Informático de Trámites Aduaneros" (in Spanish)/SITA) under the electronic single window for foreign trade operations ("Ventanilla Única de Comercio Exterior" (in Spanish)/VUCE).

2.All entities registered under the Special Customs Registry ("Registros Especiales Aduaneros" (in Spanish)) linked to the Electronic Customs Communication and Notification System ("Sistema de Comunicación y Notificación Electrónica Aduanera" (in Spanish)/SICNEA) will be automatically added to SITA. SITA will allow registered entities to electronically carry out notifications and submissions to AFIP, as well as to submit any related documents in digital form. The system will generate a HASH code, a unique identifier for each notification or submission.
