Ecuador: Imposition of Safeguard Duties on Continuously Shaped Wood
The Ecuadorian government issued Resolution No. 22/2015 to impose safeguard duties on continuously shaped wood, classified under Ecuadorian Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTSEC) codes 4409.10.10, 4409.10.20, 4409.10.90, 4409.21.00, 4409.29.10, 4409.29.20 and 4409.29.90, for 3 years with effect from 23 May 2015. Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Panama and Peru are excluded from the safeguard measures. The safeguard duties are as follows:

| 4 November 2014 – 3 November 2015 | US$1.5/kg |
| 4 November 2015 – 3 November 2016 | US$1.12/kg |
| 4 November 2016 – 3 November 2017 | US$0.75/kg |
