Commercial Information Circular No. 367/2015

Paraguay : Import Licensing Requirements for Certain Textiles and Apparel Products and Footwear

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 34/2015 of 6 January 2015, the Paraguayan government issued Resolutions No. 129/2015 and 150/2015 on 16 and 24 February 2015 respectively to modify the import licencing requirements for certain textiles and apparel products, and footwear.

2.The import licencing regime for both textiles and apparel products, and footwear are modified to implement new requirements to, among others, obtain a registration in the Importers Registry and import licence.

3.Further, the scope of the import licencing requirements for footwear has been amended to cover footwear products classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 6401.10.00, 6401.92.00, 6401.99.00, 6401.99.90, 6402.20.00, 6403.20.00, 6403.40.00, 6403.51.10, 6403.51.90, 6403.59.10, 6403.59.90, 6403.91.10, 6403.91.90, 6403.99.10, 6404.11.00, 6404.19.00, 6404.20.00, 6405.10.10, 6405.10.20, 6405.10.90, 6405.90.00, 6406.10.00, 6406.20.00, 6406.90.20 and 6406.90.90.
