Brazil : Final Determination of the Anti-dumping Investigation against Certain Pre-sensitized Offset Aluminium Printing Plates Allegedly Originating in Hong Kong

Further to Commercial Information Circulars No. 726/2014 of 7 August 2014 regarding the preliminary determination of anti-dumping (AD) investigation against certain pre-sensitized offset aluminium printing plates classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 3701.30.21 and 3701.30.31 allegedly originating in, inter alia, Hong Kong, the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) of Brazil published Resolution No. 9/2015 on 5 March 2015 announcing its final determination of the AD investigation.

2.According to the Resolution, Brazil's investigation concluded the existence of dumping in respect of pre-sensitized offset aluminum printing plates originating in Hong Kong and that the dumping caused injury to its domestic industry. As a result of the determination, Brazil will impose an AD duty of US$5.86/kg on imports of the subject product from Hong Kong for a period of 5 years from 5 March 2015 to 5 March 2020.
