Commercial Information Circular No. 171/2015

Uruguay : Modification of Import Tariff on Various Products

The Uruguayan government issued a Regulation No. 3366/2015 on 12 January 2015 to modify the import tariff for various products.

2.The Regulation removed the duty-free exceptions for methyl tertiary butyl ether and other natural rubber classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 2909.19.10 and 4001.29.90 respectively. It also provided duty-free treatment to technically specified natural rubber and certain copper foil classified under NCM codes 4001.22.00 and 7410.11.90 respectively.
