US : CPSC's General Compliance Certification Requirements for Drywall
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has recently announced a final rule that, effective 23 July 2015, drywall manufactured or imported for use in the United States will be subject to the general compliance certification requirements of the Consumer Product Safety Act.
DETAILS
2.Under the rule, drywall manufactured or imported on or after 23 July 2015 must comply with the sulphur content limits of ASTM C1396-14a and must be accompanied by a general certification that it complies with all applicable CPSC rules, bans, standards or regulations.
