Brazil: Initiation of Anti-circumvention Investigation on Graphite Electrodes Originating in the Mainland of China

The Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) of Brazil issued Circular No. 57/2015 on 9 September 2015 announcing the initiation of anti-circumvention investigation against graphite electrodes classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 3801.10.00 and 8545.11.00 originating in the Mainland of China (Mainland China), to determine whether the anti-dumping (AD) duty order imposed on the imports of graphite electrodes originating in the Mainland China since 30 January 2015 covers those graphite electrodes made in the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom yet produced by parts, pieces and components from the Mainland China. 2.The investigation will be concluded within six months from the date of its initiation and may be further extended by three months.
