Colombia : Imposition of Safeguard Duties on Certain Iron and Steel Products
The Colombian government issued Decree No. 1537/2015 on 21 July 2015 to impose safeguard duties on certain iron or non-alloy steel flat-rolled products and alloy steel flat-rolled products classified under Colombian Harmonised Tariff Schedule (HTSCO) codes 7210.41.00.00 and 7225.92.00.90, for one year with effect from 21 July 2015. Imports from Colombia's free trade agreement partners and the Import/Export Special System ("Plan Vallejo" in Spanish) are excluded from the safeguard measures. The safeguard duties are as follows:
