Brazil : Electronic Administrative Procedures for Trade Remedy Proceedings
Further to Commercial Information Circulars No. 835/2013 of 21 October 2013 regarding the administrative procedures on investigation and application of anti-dumping (AD) measures, the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) of Brazil issued Decree No. 58/2015 on 30 July 2015 to set out the electronic administrative procedures for trade remedy proceedings.
2. The administrative processes and communications of the procedures, creation of case-files and transmission of prcedural documents will be made through the Digitial DECOM System ("Sistema DECOM Digital"/SDD in Portuguese) provided by the Department of Trade Defense ("Departamento de Defesa Comercial"/DECOM in Portuguese). Parties must obtain a digital certificate issued within the Infrastructure of Brazilian Public Keys (ICP-Brasil) at the website http://decomdigital.mdic.gov.br before access to the Digital DECOM System.
