Brazil : Preliminary Determination of Anti-dumping Investigation against Certain Ferrite Magnets Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 571/2014 of 17 June 2014 regarding the initiation of anti-dumping (AD) investigation against certain ferrite magnets, the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) of Brazil issued a Resolution No. 96/2014 on 30 October 2014 announcing its preliminary determination that for a period of six months, ferrite magnets in segment (arc) form classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) code 8505.19.10 originating in the Mainland of China, will be subject to a provisional AD duty of US$599.02 to US$3,044.34 per tonne for certain Mainland companies.  Imports from other Mainland suppliers will be subject to a provisional AD duty of US$3,044.34 per tonne.  The Brazilian Resolution (in Portuguese) is available at:  http://www.camex.gov.br/legislacao/interna/id/1293.
