Commercial Information Circular No. 91/2014

Mexico : Modification of Import Tariff of Various Products

Mexico government recently issued a decree that made changes to certain tariff items.

DETAILS

2.The decree provided duty-free treatment to 21 pharmaceutical products, harmonised the most-favoured-nation (MFN) duties on certain metal furniture, increased the MFN duty on four agricultural products, created new tariff breakouts for nitroethane, monomethylamine salts, alkaline batteries and other manganese oxide batteries, created new tariff-rate quotas for certain fish, agricultural and food products, and extended the validity of tariff-rate quotas on certain baby products.
