Commercial Information Circular No. 909/2014

Colombia : Modification or Creation of Headings and Sub-headings, and Explanatory Notes of Certain Products

The Colombian government issued Decree No. 1498/2014 on 12 August 2014 to create/modify the headings and sub-headings, and make changes to the explanatory notes of certain products with effect from 27 August 2014. A summary of the changes is set out as follows:

  1. Headings and sub-headings of Colombian Harmonised Tariff Schedule (HTSCO) codes 0307.99.20.00, 0511.99.30.00, 1605.59.10.00, 2208.90.20.00, 3002.10.30, 3808.91.13.00, 3808.91.96.00, 3921.90.10.00, 4412.94.00.00, 61.10, 6110.11.30.00, 6110.19.30.00, 6110.20.30.00, 7214.91.10.00 and 7228.40.10.00 have been modified;
  1. New sub-headings of the following HTSCO codes have been created;

  1. Changes to explanatory notes for white spirit (HTSCO code 2710.12.91), kerosene (HTSCO code 2710.19.14), gasoil (HTSCO code 2710.19.21), fuel oils (HTSCO code 2710.19.22) and electronic devices (HTSCO chapter 90) are made.
