Mexico : Modified Labelling Requirements for Food and Beverages
The Mexican government recently modified the labelling requirements for domestically-produced and imported pre-packaged food and non-alcoholic beverages laid out under NOM-051-SCFI/SSA1-2010.
DETAILS
2.The objective of the amendments is to provide more information to Mexican consumers on the presence of sugar, salt and fat in the food and non-alcoholic beverages they consume to enable them to make better choices and lead a healthier lifestyle.
