Commercial Information Circular No. 842/2014

Brazil : Final Determination of Anti-dumping Investigation against Certain Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 242/2014 of 14 March 2014 regarding the preliminary determination of anti-dumping (AD) investigation against certain sodium acid pyrophosphate (SAPP), the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) of Brazil issued a Resolution No. 67/2014 on 15 August 2014 announcing its final determination that from 15 August 2014 to 14 August 2019, certain SAPP classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) code 2835.39.20 originating in the Mainland of China, will be subject to an AD duty of US$684.27 to US$2,522.12 per tonne for certain Mainland companies. Imports from other Mainland suppliers will be subject to an AD duty of US$2,534.07 per tonne.
