Ecuador : Regulations on Maritime Containers
The Ecuadorian government issued a Resolution No. SENAE-DGN-2014-0319-RE on 7 May 2014 to set out the regulations on maritime containers. All foreign maritime containers entering or leaving Ecuador shall be described in the bill of lading of the merchandise, or in an individual bill of lading in the case of empty container, and can stay in Ecuadorian territory for up to one year.
