Commercial Information Circular No. 604/2014

Argentina : Advance Air Cargo Information under Malvina System

Pursuant to Commercial Information Circular No. 388/2014 of 28 April 2014 regarding the approval of the advance air cargo information module ("Apruébase el Módulo Información Anticipada del Manifiesto General de Carga" in Spanish) under the Malvina Information system ("Sistema Informático Malvina" in Spanish), the Federal Administration of Publich Revenue ("Administración Federal de Ingresos Públicos"/AFIP in Spanish) of Argentina issued General Resolution No. 3622/2014 on 25 April 2014 to set out the cargo information required to be provided by sea carrier's customs transport agent ("ATA MT") and the transport agent ("ATA CBC").

2.ATA MTs are required to provide information regarding (i) the means of transport, and (ii) transport documents set out in Annexes I and II of General Resolution No. 3622/2014 respectively, while ATA CBCs are required to provide information regarding (ii) above only.

3.The required information must be transmitted at least five days prior to the air cargo's arrival at Argentina, and no later than the take-off of the aircraft from the foreign airport.
