Canada : Antidumping and Countervailing Actions against Certain Concrete Reinforcing Bar from the Mainland of China: Initiation of Investigations

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) published a notice on 13 June 2014 announcing the initiation of investigations into the alleged injurious dumping and subsidizing of certain concrete reinforcing bar originating in or exported from the Mainland of China, amongst certain other countries. On 16 June 2014, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) issued a notice announcing the commencement of a preliminary injury inquiry to determine whether the alleged dumped or subsidized imports had caused injury or retardation or were threatening to cause injury to the Canadian industry. 2.Details of the CBSA's investigations are available at http://cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/sima-lmsi/menu-eng.html. The Statement of Reasons on the case will be released by 28 June 2014 at the same website. Parties wishing to participate in the CITT's inquiry must file a notice of participation with the CITT by 2 July 2014.
