Commercial Information Circular No. 454/2014

Canada : Amendment to Canada Consumer Product Safety Act

The Canadian government amended Schedule 2 to the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. With effect from 23 October 2014, production, sale and import of products that are made, in whole or in part, of polyurethane foam that contains tris (2-chloroethyl) phosphate, and that are intended for a child under three years of age will be prohibited. The regulations are available at:
