Commercial Information Circular No. 388/2014

Argentina : Advance Air Cargo Information under Malvina System

The Federal Administration of Publich Revenue ("Administración Federal de Ingresos Públicos"/AFIP in Spanish) of Argentina issued General Resolution No. 3596/2014 on 27 February 2014 to approve the advance air cargo information module ("Apruébase el Módulo Información Anticipada del Manifiesto General de Carga" in Spanish) under the Malvina Information system ("Sistema Informático Malvina" in Spanish).

2.The General Resolution requires the customs transport agent, the freight forwarder and the carrier's transport agent to provide the relevant air cargo information. The required information must be transmitted at least four hours prior to the air cargo's arrival at Argentina. For flights less than four hours, such information must be provided no later than the take-off of the aircraft from the foreign airport.
