Commercial Information Circular No. 387/2014

Argentina : Electronic Single Window for Foreign Trade Operations

The Federal Administration of Publich Revenue ("Administración Federal de Ingresos Públicos"/AFIP in Spanish) of Argentina issued General Resolution No. 3599/2014 on 5 March 2014 to establish guidelines for implementation of an electronic single window for foreign trade operations ("Ventanilla Unica de Comercio Exterior" in Spanish / VUCE) by private entities performing foreign trade operations, and foreign trade operators registered in the Customs Special Registry ("Registros Especiales Aduaneros" in Spanish).

2.Foreign trade operators can obtain authorisations and certifications for import, export and transit via VUCE. Authorisations and certifications processed and granted electronically has the same legal validity as paper documents, and will progressively replace paper documents.
