Ecuador: Exemption of Low-Value Imports from Certificate of Conformity
The Ecuadorian government issued Resolution No. 7/2014 on 6 March 2014 to exempt imports claiming low-value from Certificate of Conformity ("certificado de reconocimiento" in Spanish / INEN-1). Certificates of Conformity will not be required for imports with its value lower than US$2,000 per month. Textile, apparel and footwear products are excluded.
