Commercial Information Circular No. 236/2014

Uruguay : Extension of Import Ban on Used Motor Vehicles

Pursuant to Commercial Information Circular No. 866/2013 of 29 October 2013 that the Uruguayan government extended the import ban on used motor vehicles, the Uruguayan government issued Law No. 19171/2013 on 4 December 2013 to further extend for an indefinite period of time on the import ban. Construction machinery and agricultural equipment are excluded from the import ban.
