Brazil : Initiation of Anti-dumping Investigation against Certain Pre-sensitized Aluminium Plates Originating in Hong Kong

The Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) of Brazil published Circular No. 10/2014 on 25 February 2014 announcing the initiation of antidumping (AD) investigation against certain pre-sensitized aluminium plates for offset printing classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 3701.30.21 and 3701.30.31 originating in, inter alia, Hong Kong. 2.Details of the AD investigation are set out below:

(a) Product Covered: Pre-sensitized aluminium plates for offset printing
(classified under NCM codes 3701.30.21 and 3701.30.31)
(b) Economies Involved: the Mainland of China, the United States of America, Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei and the European Union
(c) Injury Period: October 2008 - September 2013
(d) Dumping Period: October 2012 - September 2013
(e) Procedures: Concerned producers/exporters may consider appointing a legal representative in Brazil within 20 days from the date of the publication of the Circular to assist in the communication with the MDIC concerning the investigation, i.e.by 17 March 2014

Concerned producers/exporters are strongly advised to complete and return the questionnaire (in Portuguese) to the MDIC by 16 April 2014. The English version of the questionnaire (with 9 appendices) is available at: http://www.desenvolvimento.gov.br/arquivos/dwnl_1393591060.zip.
(f) Submission of Documents and Questionnaire: All documents related to the investigation should be in Portuguese and indicate the product, the Administrative Process No. (MDIC / SECEX 52272.000233/2014-10) and be submitted to the MDIC at:
